  • Caliber: 0.308
  • Bullet Weight (gr): 176
  • Length (in): 1.235
  • BC (G1): 0.531
  • Minimum Twist Rate: 1:10
  • Excellent Bullet for Subsonic Loading in 308 Winchester with a 1:10 Twist
  • Velocity (fps): 750-1,200
  • Box Qty: 50
  • Single shot and bolt action applications only
  • Added weight for improved energy transfer.

• Suppressor Safe — The projectile is machined from solid bar stock.  Expansion only occurs upon impact through hydraulic energy.  (They only expand when they hit “wet.”)  This is not a frangible bullet produced from powdered metal.

Reloading Notes for the 308 Winchester:

1 – Due to barrel variations prominent in 308 Winchesters, the above starting load may be slightly supersonic and charge levels will need to be reduced carefully until the correct velocity is obtained.  The charge weight must be reduced gradually; sticking a monolithic solid in a barrel usually requires the service of a gunsmith to drill the bullet out as they cannot be “driven” out.

2 – This projectile is stable in 1:10 twist barrels at 1,040 fps.  Several manufactures use 1:12 twist barrels on their 308 Winchesters.  If you are shooting suppressed, we suggest you shoot a test shot at 25 yards with the suppressor off and ensure the target hole is round before shooting with the suppressor.

For rifle use only.

For performance and safety purposes we only recommend the use of OEM manufactured 300 AAC Blackout/Whisper brass.

Controlled Fracturing

Lehigh originated Controlled Fracturing Technology.  These bullets are designed to deliver maximum terminal performance.  Controlled Fracturing bullets are produced from either solid copper or solid brass and are pre-stressed at specific points so that after a predetermined penetration depth, the razor-edge petals deploy, releasing an energy spike and then separate and radiate outward from the primary path of the bullet.  The bullet shank, now back to bore diameter, continues penetrating straight and deep along the initial impact path.

  • A minimum of four separate wound channels resulting in extensive damage

  • CNC machined from solid copper or brass, not formed or swaged

  • Exceptional accuracy from the advanced manufacturing process

  • Razor sharp petals for maximum terminal performance

  • Deep penetrating base projectile

  • Expansion is initiated by hydraulic energy – expansion only where it is required

  • Offered in a Professional Series and a Reduced Recoil Series
